Background
Clark J. Kashmaier received his B.S. in Economics from Portland State University in Oregon. He has
worked as an operations professional for 30 years in the areas of quality assurance, supply chain,
materials and database management.
Mr. Kashmaier's experience spans a 9 year career at Tektronix which gave him a solid background in
electro-mechanical devices. He went on to do consulting, which included writing quality system
documentation, enabling several companies to become ISO compliant.
In addition to consulting, Clark Kashmaier has almost 20 years experience working for four medical
device manufacturers, including a 4 ½ year position as the Materials and Document Control Manager for
Innercool Therapies, a startup company in San Diego, helping with their early growth efforts through
several clinical trials, ISO and CE Mark registrations and in bringing their first commercial products to
market.
Mr. Kashmaier's most recent position has been with VeraLight, Inc., a medical device manufacturer in
Albuquerque, NM as the Director of Quality Assurance and Materials Management. During this 6 ½ year
position plus one additional year as a consultant (his 3rd startup company), he directed all activities
related to reaching ISO 13485/9001 registration, ETL Mark and obtaining a CE mark and Canadian Licence.
